For some reason Rockstar decided to defoliate the Redwood trees in Tall Trees sometime before release, maybe because of console limitations or something like that. Regardless, this mod restores the dense forest look Tall Trees had in pre-release.
Installation Instructions:
Drag and drop the Dense Tall Trees folder into your lml folder and everything should work.
Recommended mods to go with this:
Beta Douglas Fir Trees: Replaces the vanilla Douglas Fir trees with prerelease ones that were denser. Pairs well with this one because Tall Trees has a few Douglas Fir trees in it too. I personally recommend this one.
Beta Redwood Textures: Restores the old textures that the redwood tree used. Use if you’re going for that extra-prerelease feel.
Known Issues:
– Due to the nature of this mod as a model swap, some of the collisions against the trees might be a little weird.
Thanks to Suika, there is a version of the mod that has this fixed by adding the leaves to the default trees instead of as a model swap like I did. I’ve left this as an optional though as the default models can feel a bit small for my liking.
