June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month.
Armor up on the outside—but don’t forget to check in on your squad, your friends, and yourself. Stay strong. Stay human.
This is an asset I am working with in Unreal Engine 5
Lore:
In light of recent frontier conflicts and grueling planetary deployments, the United Colonies military has commissioned the Adaptive Polymer ExoFrame (APEX) for Marine units operating beyond secure zones. Designed as an advanced reinforcement layer, APEX integrates a pliable exoskeletal mesh made from Flexisteel—a cutting-edge adaptive rubber polymer.
Unlike rigid exosuits, APEX conforms tightly over standard-issue Marine armor, expanding and contracting in response to motion. This ensures enhanced strength, shock resistance, and load-bearing efficiency without sacrificing flexibility or range of motion. The rubberized structure “flexes” naturally with the body, allowing troops to retain agility even in low-gravity or high-stress environments.
Engineers acknowledge some unintended deformation quirks during motion—particularly on early models—but Marines in the field refer to this phenomenon as “combat flex”, often seen as a badge of battlefield authenticity. Despite its unconventional appearance, the APEX has become an unofficial favorite for veterans across multiple deployments, praised for its comfort, support, and resilience.
The exoskeleton is crafted at the workbench.
4K Textures. This might only work for male characters btw
