Special thanks to the original mod author Lilaaloo for creating “Joaquin Phoenix joker for John” and IMaVeRicK for creating “No Hair Growth”.
Lilaaloo’s “Joaquin Phoenix joker for John” transforms John into the Joker when he is bald and has an *Extra Clean Shave*. However, as soon as facial hair starts growing back, his face reverts to the default John appearance.
I spent a long time searching the community for a solution to maintain the Joker appearance permanently without needing to shave, until I discovered IMaVeRicK’s “No Hair Growth” mod.
“No Hair Growth” prevents both hair and facial hair from growing. The issue was that it only maintains a *Clean Shave* state, not an *Extra Clean Shave*. Since Lilaaloo’s mod requires the *Extra Clean Shave* to activate the Joker appearance, I studied modding tutorials and created this mod myself. It makes John become the Joker even when in the *Clean Shave* state.
By combining it with “No Hair Growth”, John can now maintain his Joker appearance forever without ever needing to shave.
Installation:
1. Download Lilaaloo’s “Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix joker for John“. Place the files into your `LML/stream` folder.
2. Download IMaVeRicK’s “No Hair Growth“. Navigate to the `Options` folder, open the `1) Always Bald` subfolder, and place the `Always Bald + No Facial Hair Growth` files into your `LML` folder.
3. Download my mod, “Joker John, No shaving ever”. Place the provided `LML` folder into your RDR2 root directory.
Done.
