Map Xero Parklands v2.20 for BeamNG.drive.

A very diverse and large but realistic map that has pretty much everything your heart desires.

The main focus of the map is a race track called Xero Speedring with 5 different layouts (full, Grand Prix, short, full classic, short classic). This track was built in the 1980s after the local airport was closed and a bunch of land became available for use and could be bought cheaply. As a result, the track has some pretty long straights, as well as some street type aspects as you approach the warehouses at the far corner of the track.

On the map:

– 62 missions, including several “careers” ranging from time races to car chases, collections, artificial intelligence races, and everything in between.
– The race course is 3.17 miles long and takes about two and a half minutes to complete in the GTIV Spec K series.
– Sand Dunes. In the very south of the map along the oceanfront you’ll find massive sand dunes with giant dune-to-dune jumps. To the northeast of the large open dunes are several wooded dunes similar to those on the Oregon coast. These dunes have 50-100 trails winding between the trees.
– 5 smaller race tracks. In addition to the larger full-size track, there are smaller tracks scattered in and around the Xero Parklands Motorsport Campusall with artificial intelligence running both missions and free-running.
– A drift track, as well as 3 more drift zones, 2 driving schools, and a drift mountain.
– Off Road. For those who like a more relaxed and slower ride off the beaten path this map has two trials trails: one goes almost from corner to corner and passes through two different mountains, and the other goes up a very steep hillside turning back to the watchtower. There is also a full off-road park on the race course where you can test your Jeeps and trucks with a variety of RC Crawler style obstacles such as a log bridge and a ladder climb. Oh, and we must not forget the giant mud bog with very deep mud pits up to 6 feet deep in several places.

– A sawmill with a makeshift race track inside;
– Pier and shipyard;
– Dirt roads for rallying;
– A full-fledged mountain, perfect for climbing;
– A freeway and two-lane paved road circles the map;
– Town and neighborhoods;
– Rally school with paved and dirt tracks;
– A driving school with autocross and road course;
– A few easter eggs worth seeking out;
– A 1/8 mile course;
– 2 “player’s houses” designed for spending time and modifying your cars;
– 3 gas stations (not yet operational);
– A bunch of configs that are used in Ai races and other such missions.

– Snow is now deep and much more manageable
– Deep and Added deep mud; up to half a meter deep in places
– Underwater landscape colors have been changed to give more visual depth
– Several fences and other objects have been changed to provide “slices” across the map
– Various minor fixes to the landscape and incorrect objects

In version 2.30 (11/25/24):

– General optimization (total increase by 10-20 frames per second across the entire map);
– Soaring trees no longer soar;
– Fixed the density of the surrounding fog and the position of the sun;
– Improved off-road detail;
– More clarity and consistency for off-road driving;
– Updated the water for significant GPU optimization;
– Complete redesign of the surrounding environment for a significantly more realistic visual experience while improving frame rate;
– Changes in the surrounding space mean that reflections now correspond much more accurately to real life;
– The morning time on the map has improved significantly from the previously dull state to now my favorite time of day on the map;
– A brand new skid pad and a mini oval mud go-kart have been added to the big house by the docks;
– The previously empty farm now has a motocross track and freestyle ski jumps (best used on an Aurata, Wigeon or modified ATV);
– Roadside decorations such as fences and stickers were added to places that required attention;
– Dynamic fire added to bonfires for a nighttime atmosphere

In version 2.25 (10/18/24):

Fixes:

– Texture errors;
– Stickers on canyon roadsides are too narrow;
– Caterpillar rubber reflection values have been updated;
– There are spikes in some places;
– Incorrect derby van for random AI derby races;
– Corrected the appearance point in the mountains so that the car no longer appears on the curb.

Updates:

– The asphalt oval track has a redesigned slope and a new inner curb;
– The grass road curb stickers now look like dirt and should look much better;
– The dunes have been redone with more realistic terrain and foliage;
– The off-road Short Course has been redone for better racing and a more exciting driving experience;
– New ocean island and campground to explore;
– Updated dirt road textures.

In version 2.20 (09/30/24):

Added 17 brand new missions:

– 5 Derby missions with random opponents
– 3 Track Day missions with random opponents
– 2 new time trials
– 2 Long jump missions
– 2 Knockaway missions
– 3 Arrive missions

Optimization changes:

– Lod models added to the required models
– Collision meshes added
– Sky redesigned for added FPS
– Overall gain of about +20 FPS on my personal machine
– Unnecessary AI machine configurations moved to “auxiliary content”
– Needed configurations now have names and descriptions
– Reduced mission thumbnail size
– Unused assets removed

– Street races with randomized opponents doubled the number of potential opponents (up to 50 total)
– SBR4 has been added to the GTIV race with new details

– Completely redesigned track grid for fewer tire blowouts and FPS drops
