What is it?
This mod started out as a simple fix to the terrible and choppy low res chrome on the SCI steering wheels that drove me crazy. Well, it solves that. It also evolved into this - a whole bunch of new steering wheels with signficantly improved textures and shaders in different colors and combinations.
For now this mod contains over 20 new variants of the classic SCI 4-spoke in 16" and 18". In my opinion the only worthy aftermarket truck wheel.

Most are based on actual SCI designs, a couple are a bit more ... novelty.

How does it work?
These wheels do not replace any existing ones, they are all standalone but you need the SCI DLC. Don't be silly, it's like 2 bucks.

What is it compatible with?
All SCS trucks and every established truck mod I can think of as of today's date. Full list of supported trucks here.

Can you add mod truck X?
Yes. But you need to supply me with the internal name of it, especially if it's some obscure payware. If you don't know how to find that, you need to ask the mod creator.

It doesn't work with Y!
This mod has its own def files which means that just because a mod has SCI support, it won't automatically make these compatible. Let me know and I will add it. Or, if you prefer - here's an open def file for this mod.

Can you do a wheel in aged turqoise pastel with a vintage sunburst mahogany rim or [insert your favorite color combo here]?
No requests but feel free to drop suggestions below.

Can you do this to the rest of the SCI wheels?
I may improve some of the other popular wheels at some point. Probably the pinion style ones first, and the "Traveler" style wheels never. If you like those we can't be friends.

Testing every wheel on every truck in all weathers and hours of the day is obviously not possible. So I'd appreciate any feedback if anything looks odd, particularly in terms of lighting etc.

Final notes
1) As you may know by now, unlike some of the ridiculous -yet prevalent- instances here on the workshop I don't take myself or my mods too seriously. So feel free to consider this mod open source and do whatever you like with it. For this particular mod however, all I ask is that you maintain good practices and don't try to bypass the DLC dependency if you want to republish this somewhere.
2) The 16 inch wheels are all SCS but the model for the larger 18 inch is part of an obsolete, author-less Freightliner mod that's been sitting on my HDD for many years and haven't seen used anywhere since. If this is yours and want my adaption of it removed from this mod or your name credited, let me know.
