Here's a short description of which dds-files to use when adding a custom color to rims and hubs:

Template Texture Which rim?

rim_color_1_main.png color_1.dds	Basic steel 9 inch front, rear, 11 inch with round holes
rim_color_1_outer.png

rim_color_2_main.png color_2.dds	Basic steel 11 inch heavy duty and oval holes
rim_color_2_outer.png

rim_color_3_main.png color_3.dds	Maxion wheels
rim_color_3_outer.png

Template Texture Which hub?

Scania_Hubs_UV_Layout.png hubs_color.dds	Scania hubs

Daf_Volvo_Hubs_UV_Layout.png	hub2_color.dds	Daf and Volvo/Renault hubs

MB_MAN_Hubs_UV_Layout.png	hub3_color.dds	Man and MB hubs

Iveco_Hubs_UV_Layout.png hub4_color.dds	Iveco hubs

Both rims and hubs now uses a second UV-layer for adding colors, this way you always keep the AO-texture untouched.

The custom colored rim also have text displayable at the outer part of the rim. The material uses the alpha layer to display the text (look at the texture included to get the idea) and if you don't want a text on your rims, just keep the alpha black. The texture for the rim text is text_1.dds. The text_0.dds is just a "blank" texture for the stock rims.

The "stock" texture for the hubs is just a small "almost black" texture and if you feel like having more than just one custom color hub, you could also use this one ;)

The paintable protection ring and wheel nuts are only paintable with the color-picker when in the shop. If you want hubs or rims paintable with the color-picker too, please use 50Kedas wheel pack.
