State Ledger is the low‑level save‑manager that the Realistic Farming suite relies on. Sitting at load‑order slot 1, it intercepts every companion mod’s save data and writes it all into one atomic XML file, then reads it back in a single load. That means a crash or forced quit can’t leave half‑written files scattered across your profile, which would otherwise trash progress. There’s nothing to tweak – just install, keep it enabled, and let the other mods do their thing.
