Unique Space Ships

A mod that rebalances all ships and freighters to make them more unique.

These are some of the changes I made to make Spaceships stand out more.
Also available a version without price and inventory changes for the “normal” ships.

The version 3.51 still has the old changes, if you don’t like the new balanced version (3.51V2), you can keep using that. To update the old version (if a new patch rolls around), install AMUMSS drop the .lua file in modscript and run the BUILDMOD.bat

Small note: changes are only visible for new spawns, so the ships you currently own will be unaffected.

The Living ships are still Under Dev I should say.
Lua file is included

FILES USED: GCSPACESHIPGLOBALS.GLOBAL.MBIN and METADATA\REALITY\TABLES\INVENTORYTABLE.MBIN
if you use any other mod that alters these files then consider merging your mods.

Warning: Every changes that goes outside the vanilla limits could cause issues when uninstalling the mod or when the mod breaks.

CHANGES EXPLORER SHIP (hyperdrive oriented)

DECREASED inventory slots to C = 16 B = 20 A = 24 S = 24
No Bonus in SHIP DAMAGE
BONUS to Hyperdrive range C = 100-150, B = 150-250, A = 250-500, S = 500-750
LOW BONUS to tech slots C = 14 B = 21 A = 28 S = 35
CHANGE BONUS to SHIELD C = 0, B = 0-5, A = 10-15, S = 10 – 25

CHANGES FIGHTER SHIP (combat oriented)

DECREASED max inventory slots to C = 20 B = 24 A = 28 S = 28
BONUS in SHIP DAMAGE C = 25-50, B = 50-100, A = 100-150, S = 150-250
NO hyperdrive bonus
MEDIUM BONUS to SHIELD C = 0-25, B = 25-50, A = 50-100, S = 100-150
MEDIUM BONUS in TechSlots C = 7, B = 14, A = 21, S = 28

CHANGES HAULER SHIP (cargo and shield oriented)

Only Ship with Max inventory slots
LOW Bonus in SHIP DAMAGE C = 0-5, B = 5-10, A = 10-15, S = 15-25
NO hyperdrive bonus
BONUS to SHIELD C = 25-50, B = 50-75, A = 75-150, S = 150-250
DECREASE in TechSlots C->S = 7

CHANGES SHUTTLE SHIP (ie low balanced ship)

DECREASED max inventory slots to C = 20 B= 24 A = 28 S = 32
DECREASED launch cost to 2.5%
LOW BONUS in SHIP DAMAGE C = 10-25, B = 25-35, A = 35-45, S = 45-55
LOW BONUS to SHIELD C = 0-25, B = 25-35, A = 35-55, S = 55-65
LOW BONUS to Hyperdrive range C = 15-25, B = 25-50, A = 50-100, S = 100-250
LOW BONUS to tech slots C = 0 B = 7 A = 14 S = 21 (ie no bonus)

CHANGES Exotic SHIP (ie high balanced ship)

DECREASED max inventory S = 40
MEDIUM BONUS in SHIP DAMAGE S = 50-75
MEDIUM BONUS to Hyperdrive range S = 150-350
MEDIUM BONUS to SHIELD S = 75-100
MEDIUM BONUS to tech slots S = 28

CHANGES LIVING SHIP (ie high balanced ship) (still not upgradable) WIP

Max inventory S = 48
MEDIUM BONUS in SHIP DAMAGE S = 50-75
MEDIUM BONUS to Hyperdrive range S = 150-350
MEDIUM BONUS to SHIELD S = 75-100
BONUS to tech slots S = 48

CHANGES FREIGHTER

Hyperdrive increase C = 1500-2000 , B =2000-2500 , A = 2500-3500, S = 3500-5000
All Freighters Class can now be upgraded to 48 Inventory and 21 Technology

Prices are altered due to new bonuses and stats
CHANGES to spawns

2 Star system = 2% S class
3 Star system = 5% S class

FUTURE CHANGES

Make Living Ships upgradeable in Space Station (inventory and tech slots) WIP
