Reduced Animal Population V1.0

This mod is a change to gameconfig.xml, the section has been adjusted.

Apparently, reducing the total MaxTotalPeds value will reduce total population, but in a certain order thanks to another R* file, and with priority (as far as I can tell):

People spawning (walking) have priority 1 (highest)
Scripted animals (like the buffalo) are priority 2
Road traffic is priority 3
Birds are priority 4
Animals are priority 5
Fish are priority 6

I’m sure that the other R* file can be changed, but what this all means is:
People are numerous
Scripted animals are still there
Road traffic has been reduced slightly
Birds have been reduced more than slightly
All animals are rare (all non-scripted animals)
Fish are very rare 🙂

The key is, if higher priority spawns are taking place, lower priority spawns won’t happen. It’s capped.

So, if you want to hunt or fish, you need to go to a secluded area, away from towns and scripted spawns. It kinda works out perfect.
