Hello and welcome again to this mod dedicated to requests (and some original coats)!
What is the reason behind the creation of this mod? I simply needed a better space to publish my requested coats and I figured an entire mod dedicated to that would’ve been a good idea!
I will also take advantage of this mod to publish some original coats that were scrapped from my mods, unfinished coats, etc.
If you’re here to request or tip for a horse coat, refer to the Requests section!
If you’re new to modding, please read the How To Use section carefully.
How is this mod structured?
First, you need to know how this mod is organized.
As Main Files, you will find a variety of single horse files flagged by different “tags”. I will now explain the difference between them:
Custom = indicates the coat in the file is custom made, meaning it will require custom textures to work properly;
Vanilla = indicates the coat is a recolor of an existing coat that can be found in the base game. It doesn’t require custom textures;
Original = indicates the coat was not requested and was probably a scrapped coat from my mods;
Requested = indicates the coat has been requested by someone.
A file will be flagged with either Custom or Vanilla tags first and then it will specify if it’s Original or Requested.
Miscellaneus section is dedicated to Packs. You will find the same first two tags here. All packs contain requested coats.
Packs usually contain 5 coats;
MiniPacks contain less than 5 coats;
MegaPacks contain more than 10 coats.
I will make a new pack whenever there are too many coats as single files.
HOW TO USE
To make this mod work, you simply need to download three things:
Script Hook
Lenny’s Mod Loader (LML)
Asi Loader
After you have successfully downloaded them, extract them (if you don’t have any app to extract them, be sure to download WinRAR or another similar application that can open .rar files) and then open ScriptHook folder: place ScriptHook.dll in your RDR2 directory*;
Open LML folder and place everything you find inside the ModLoader folder into your RDR2 directory;
As for Asi loader, just place version.dll into your directory.
After you’re done installing the tools needed to make this mod work, you can choose your solo horse or pack to download,
then simply place every .ymt and .ytd files inside your stream folder.
*(If you’re playing RDR2 via Steam, your directory should be somewhere around here = This Pc/Local Disc (C:)/Programs (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Red Dead Redemption 2)
