✧˖°・ Overview ・°˖✧
This mods adds a new small player home to the end of Akila City, near the stretch. The house replaces an existing stone building that had no interior.
It is not the biggest home but it is cozy nonetheless, whilst still offering decent storage capabilities.
I am open for suggestions and feedback! If you encounter any issues, please create a bug report on this page.
✧˖°・ Unlocking the house ・°˖✧
Simply head to the house location (refer to the map image for its exact location) and you will find a terminal next to the door. Interact with it to purchase the house for 15,000 credits.
The terminal will get removed upon purchasing the house to not ruin its exterior look.
✧˖°・ Features ・°˖✧
- Map marker to travel to. (only local)
- Decorations and clutter are static
- Idle markers for your companions to engage in activities around the house (not many, small space!)
- Interior of the house allows for placing your own decorations and furniture down via the build menu.
- The terminal on the desk allows to enable and disable various furniture inside the house.
- You can disable all furniture which leaves the house empty (except lights) to decorate for yourself!
- The stove is functional and the only workbench, there wasn’t room to fit more in.
- There are plenty of other locations around Akila City that have the other workbenches!
- Three mannequins to display your spacesuits and/or clothing. They can be swapped between female and male.
- Two weapon racks
- Custom cabinet, fridge and dresser storage.
- All storage objects are safe to use and are linked to allow using their contents for crafting.
- Total storage capacity is 4250.
✧˖°・ Installation ・°˖✧
If you’ve recently visited Akila City, you may find objects being out of place or missing. Simply head to Venus, wait there for 24 hours and come back, everything should be in place now!
I recommend using a Mod Manager like MO2 or Vortex.
If you install manually:
- Download and unpack the file
- Place DWN_SmallAkilaHouse – Main.ba2 and DWN_SmallAkilaHouse.esm into your Starfield/Data folder
- Start the game, head to the Creations menu and activate the mod under Load Order
Updates usually don’t touch any of the storage containers and objects, but to be on the safe side I recommend removing all items from any storage containers and objects, leaving the area and then update the mod to avoid any issues.
To make the emptying less of a problem, enable godmode via the command tgm in the console (to open the console hit the tilde key, or ö on German keyboards. No idea what the key for other languages is) This removes any weight limit. To disable it, just type tgm again or reload.
✧˖°・ Compatibility ・°˖✧
This mod is not compatible with anything that modifies the area where the house is placed.
Nothing else got touched by this mod.
