Makes 3 helmets with opaque visors have transparent ones instead.
I’m so sick of opaque helmet visors. Let me see my character’s face, damn it.
To install, enable archive invalidation for Starfield, then place the “materials” and “textures” folders as well as the .esm file in your “steamapps\common\Starfield\data\” directory. Be sure to enable the .esm with your preferred mod manager, otherwise your character’s head will be missing inside the affected helmets.
The affected helmets are:
Deepseeker
Ground Crew
Va’ruun
Currently the Cydonia/Shocktroop helmets are not affected, as the visor textures are not separate from the helmet textures, and the shader used to enable transparency requires it to be a separate texture.
Should be compatible with any mod that doesn’t replace the material file of the visors. This includes texture replacements, though I don’t know how well they’ll work since I haven’t tried.
