The MagSniper should be a one-hit-kill on most enemies, as one would expect from a weapon that launches projectiles of that speed, mass, and caliber.
The MagShear is a little… quick.
They don’t run out of ammo.
They’re right outside the door of Argos Extractor’s Outpost, right after you do character creation.
