The Weaver is a combat-oriented ship based on The Weaver – Alien Resurrection Mantis Class designed by dertien which itself was inspired by the Mantis class ship “The Betty” from Alien Resurrection. I liked this design so much that I decided to create a mod for it, supporting Ship Vendor Framework.
The mod provides three different versions of the ship available for sale at various ship vendors:
Weaver Mark I
A B-class light freighter refurbished as a combat ship. Decent cargo space, ballistics, EM, and missile armaments.
Weaver Mark II
An improved version of the Mark I with an extended chassis for more crew- and cargo space. Laser, EM, and missile armaments.
Weaver Mark III
A vastly beefed-up combat variant of the Mark I, upgraded as C-class with superior reactor and grav drive. Weapons have been prioritized over cargo and crew space. Particle beam, EM, and missile armaments.
The ships are available at New Atlantis, Akila, and Hopetech.
The Mark III is additionally available in the Crimson Fleet faction.
