This mod adds modified standalone versions of the Neon Security Helmet, UCSEC Helmet, and Miner Hard Hat.
The visors, helmet frames, (and the decals of the Miner Hard Hat) are now separate clothing items, allowing customisation with different colour schemes for each piece. You can also wear the helmets without a visor.
All helmets now offer a modest damage resistance.
Hair fix: Fixed the missing hair when equipping the Neon Security Helmet (may not be suitable for some hairstyles).
How to use the mod:
Each helmet comes with either two or three parts.
Get the helmet parts by crafting them at an Industrial Workbench. Look for entries starting with ZYH. It requires one iron per piece.
Equip the helmet parts. The helmet entries with the word “Main” are helmet frames, which is essential. The visors (and decals) for the respective helmets are optional. You can wear a helmet frame with or without the visor or decals.
Customise the colours at a Spacesuit Workbench.
Remember to unequip all helmet components when switching outfits.
