This simple but powerful mod is meant to make your hunting experience more immersive by removing the quality indicators (stars and rating) of an animal when you inspect it through your binoculars or tracking.
The idea behind it is that now you actually have to hunt more and look for other signs of animal quality (some animals should have subtle differences in their coats when they are higher quality, though not all.)
Even if an animal has no indication that it’s higher quality now you, the player will have to actually check up close if the pelt is up to your liking or not.
It’s simply meant to be more engaging, instead of just looking at the quality indicator when hunting.
Warning! This will make the game harder!
