No Man’s Sky version 5.58 updated the Nautilon’s visuals. I liked some of it, but not the bright lights which I found distracting for deep sea exploration. I made some changes according to my preference so it’s more like pre-5.58. These are the lights in question:
Front center spotlight: This is a giant blue spotlight that’s reflecting off the muck or something in the water using volumetrics. I’ve changed this to a yellow-ish color. I disabled the volumetrics so it now only reflects off objects and terrain. I’ve increased the spotlight area.
Front cone lights: Two smaller, blue, front-facing cone-shaped lights. Pre-5.58, these lights didn’t exist, but I like them so I’ve changed this to yellow, as well, then reduced their brightness.
Rear thruster lights: Two giant blue lights in the back near the thrusters, I’m not sure what these are meant to be. I’ve reduced their brightness to nearly imperceptible.
Blinking fin lights: Red blinking lights on the left and right fins. Whenever the lights blink, a large radius around them lights up as volumetric lighting. I’ve left the blinking lights, disabled the volumetrics.
Thruster boost lights: Increased illumination from the rear thrusters when you boost. Actually, I left this alone as it looked fine to me as is.

I’ve never modded this game so I waited a while to see if any experienced modder would make this mod, but no one seems bothered by the lights. Eventually, I stumbled around a bit until it worked. I’ve tested these changes and they should be working as intended.
