Turn your pistols into sleek, factory-new chrome variants! Craft them at a workbench or use the replacer version. The mod is lore-friendly, meticulously detailed, and there will be future updates to include all weapons.
This mod offers two versions:
✔ Craftable Skins – Apply the chrome skin at a weapon workbench. These versions are slightly lighter and more valuable to reflect their premium design.
OR
✔ Replacer version – All pistols automatically adopt the chrome finish, with no stat changes.
⚙️Installation:
Download with your preferred mod manager, or unpack the zipped file into Starfield\Data and enable modding in the usual way.

Features:
Hand-painted in Photoshop – Meticulously designed textures for a polished, high-quality look.
Colour motifs adjusted – Colours match weapon lasers/reticles for a more cohesive aesthetic.
⚠ Warning stickers redone – Most removed, or redesigned for a clean, tactical feel.

Lore-Friendly – Imagine these could be fresh-from-the-factory models, starborn variants, or just make the world more futuristic.
Texture detail – The textures used are the same size as vanilla (highest is 2048×2048).
Known issues:
In the craftable skin version, this is not an issue. In the replacer version only the following weapons will have some minor chrome elements: beowulf, maelstrom, magpulse, breach, microgun, negotiator). You may find they look better this way anyway.
In the craftable skin version, the urban eagle’s short suppressor, reflex sight, muzzle brake and the sidestar’s reflex sight, muzzle brake and recon laser will always be chrome. This may be patched in the future if I can resolve the issue, but you may find they look better this way anyway.
