This engine amends and adds a large number of realistic medium and heavy duty engines to the stock and various mod trucks to the game. Some engines have a bit more low-down torque than the manufacturers’ data suggests, which is in the interests of keeping the game playable.
Many of the stock SCS engines have been reprogrammed with authentic torque curves.
As of October, 2024, the Steele Productions Engine Pack supports both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2. However, I’ve not been able to get the Euro Truck Simulator 2 truck badges to reliably work between the two game versions – if you can help, please get in touch. 🙂
