A prebuilt, cozy, tiny Home for you to import into your game and relax in after a day full of infinite space exploration.
IMPORTANT: Requires No Mans Sky Save Editor by goatfungus
Don’t forget to backup your savegames before altering anything with the saveeditor. Be carefull not accidentally overwrite the wrong base
There are 2 files to chose from, one is all vanilla parts, the base needs you to install power yourself.
The second file includes power and a utility room next to the base with a large refiner, all 10 storage containers and a trade terminal. This file is not vanilla as I had to use a mod to scale the solar panels, batteries, storage containers and the large rafinery down to a size I could fit into a cuboid room.
Installation:
– 1 (Optional): Place a new base computer where you want the Base to be. Save your game and exit.
– 2 BACKUP YOUR SAVEGAMES! Use the save editor to open the savegame you want the base to be in.
– 3 Go to “Bases & Storage” Tab, select the base you want to overwrite (eg. the new one you claimed in step one).
– 4 Click “Restore” Button and chose the base you want to import.
– 5 Save changes
– 6 Launch game and enjoy!
The Base gets put more or less directly onto the base computer (see pictures). Be aware that the base needs a little bit of space, but not much. So it should fit into most spots.
Personal Note:
The idea for this came to me as I showed off my tiny home to the wholesome NMS Community on Reddit. To see the post and a VIDEO of the base click here.
Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy my tiny home base.
