Terrain Textures Overhaul - TTO V2.0

Replaces a lot of terrain textures to higher fidelity remade ones, while staying close to the vanilla look.

As of patch 2.0 mod covers Ambarino, New Hanover, Lemoyne, West Elizabeth and New Austin.
This is not a FULL terrain textures replacement. There are still vanilla textures around, but this covers a lot of textures.

Additionally Saint Denis and Blackwater has seen work done on pavements and various city textures.

Textures are completely remade, not upscales.
Albedo and Normal maps are 2k.
AO, Roughness and Heightmaps are 1k. (some from main archive are 2k)
Vanilla is 1k/512.

Compatibility and recommendations
I highly recommend at least 8GB VRAM GPU and 16GB RAM,
anything below that might cause crashes and other issues.
There shouldn’t be compatibility issues with any mods, expect for mods changing terrain textures.
So just make sure you only use this mod for terrain textures.
Vanilla vs TTO benchmark (patch 1.2), some weird way TTO actually manages to get more fps at some places.

USE VULKAN, this doesn’t work on dx12.

Install:
Download Lenny’s Mod Loader. (this also requires ScriptHookRDR2 V2)
Drop the lml folders from both TTO main and TTO south to your main RDR2 directory.
Open up ModManager and check that both ”Terrain Textures Overhaul” and ”Terrain Textures Overhaul – South” are active.

Recommended mods for even better visuals:

this will hide some terrain textures, but its still worth it.

This is a large project, and I had to change a lot of textures in waaaay too many archives, so there might be issues that I haven’t seen.
Please let me know if you find anything weird.
