Tsukuba Fruits Line, located in Ibaraki Prefecture in Japan, takes its name from the orchards surrounding the western entrance. From the summit of Mount Tsukuba, there is a wide view of the surrounding farmland and countryside.
The road became famous for various distinctive roadside features, including raised curbs and deep drainage ditches. The Asahi Tunnel was completed in 2012, diverting a significant amount of traffic away from the pass.
