Binds:
“Cycle max lean angle”, bound to U, cycles through the max lean angle and steering damping settings for the different control schemes
“Photo mode”, bound to I, lets you switch to “parked” mode for taking photos
“Choke”, bound to o, cycles through the manual throttle settings on early models for cold starts (later models have automatic throttles)
“Rider tuck”, this is an additional axis that binds to the controller joystick to control the forward/backward lean of the rider
WHEN RIDING AT LOW SPEED
The bike will hold a speed of about 9-10 mph, if you get up to that speed and hold the throttle down a bit (holding the rear brake and a bit more throttle may be easier), when it’s moving at that speed it will counter-lean, allowing you to make very tight turns. However, be careful when releasing the throttle to go below this speed, if you do this while leaning over you may fall over.
IF THE ENGINE STALLS OR WON’T RPM
This bike has manual throttles on early models and cold rev limiters on later models. Use the linkage above to adjust the throttle to prevent cold stalling, and use the “Individual Ignition System” and set the “Cold Limiter” to 0 in the setup menu if you want to get rid of the cold rev limiter.
IF THE REAR END BECOMES UNSTABLE AND WOBBLES OR BOPS
You can stabilize the rear end with engine braking (release the throttle and downshift if possible) or with the rear brake (hold the parking brake). If this is a consistent issue with your setup or riding style, try installing a racing shock and adjusting the damping values to suit your preferences.
Version 1.08:
Added some missing elements, including turbofilters and a pipe;
Tweaked the suspension, and switched to a PID controller for the steering, which provides much more stability and predictability to the system.
Version 1.05:
– Improved stability;
– Removed backlash;
– improved steering;
– unique engine sound;
– modified driver’s seat and tilt.
