Description
This mod enhances the visual realism of AI traffic by adding a diverse pool of painted trucks, trailers, and coaches. It introduces realistic company branding, proper truck-trailer combinations, and a worn, “lived-in” look to vehicles on the road. The goal is to transform generic traffic into a believable fleet of working vehicles.
Installation instructions
Download the archive and extract its contents (a
.scs file).
Move the extracted
.scs file to your
Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod folder.
Launch the game, go to the Mod Manager, and enable
Realistic AI Traffic Pack.
Load order (recommended): Place this mod directly below any traffic density mods (e.g., Real Traffic Density or Brutal Traffic).
Main features
Branded truck-trailer combinations: Hundreds of curated, realistic combinations where a truck and its trailer form a single, logical unit (e.g., a branded truck with its matching branded trailer).
Mixed vehicle pools: Separate pools for trucks and trailers that can spawn independently with any other vehicle, ensuring compatibility with other traffic mods.
Realistic color distribution: Adjusted spawn rates so white remains the most common truck color, reflecting real-world fleet statistics.
Enhanced visual details: Truck liveries now include small details like emission standard stickers and “Angles Morts” (blind spot) decals.
Expanded premium coach traffic: Adds a variety of modern, painted coaches to the AI traffic mix.
Planned features
Expand the number of region-specific vehicle combinations.
Add truck tuning parts (bullbars, auxiliary lighting).
Integrate new truck models (MAN TG3, Iveco S-Way, Mercedes MP5, eActros ProCabin).
Add new coach models.
Investigate the possibility of low-deck + mega trailer combinations.
Requirements
Game version: 1.59.x (compatibility may vary with older versions).
Other mods: Fully compatible with traffic density mods and mods that add new vehicles. No additional mods are strictly required.
