Features – Place survey stakes from Build Mode → Production → Cultivation to outline a custom parcel. Mis‑placed stakes are removed with the normal Demolish tool. – Exiting Build Mode validates the polygon (spacing, self‑intersection, overlap) and spawns a glowing red “FOR SALE” sign that shows parcel number, area, asking price and market status. A live preview of boundaries, area and price is shown while you place stakes. – NPC seller uses deterministic RNG (mood, local demand, terrain suitability, rare Lucky Finds). High‑value tiers can produce High Demand, Strategic Site or Developer Bidding‑War valuations. – Buying requires the seller to have completed 1‑5 NPC jobs; progress appears on the sign, map marker and a credit counter. Better Contracts loyalty discounts are applied automatically and consumed after purchase. – Purchase with R at the sign, resale via the same sign (always below purchase price). After purchase the sign turns green and reads “PRIVATE PROPERTY”. – Red FOR SALE and green MY PARCEL icons mark parcel centres on the main map, displaying area, value, seller and discount, and support the native VISIT action. – Ownership grants land access, construction and landscaping rights but never transfers existing factories, shops or other placeables. Controls – No hotkeys needed – just place corner stakes, leave Build Mode, and use Demolish to delete any wrong stake. Press R beside a FOR SALE sign to buy. Important limitations – Works only in normally unbuyable zones; native farmland is protected. – Single‑player proof of concept – no multiplayer sync. – The sign uses the base‑game model with red lettering while listed, green after purchase, and a short chime confirms a transaction. – No automatic map scanning; you must survey manually to avoid roads, rivers, etc. – Fully compatible with existing saves and with the Better Contracts mod.
