Allows the player to grind Quicksilver through a wide variety of different ways.
I could never bring myself to grind Quicksilver due to there being only one time-gated and repetitive source, but there are just so many tasty items at the Exotic Vendor. I wanted to be able to acquire Quicksilver in fun adventurous ways that would still take time to gather enough to buy everything. I couldn’t find a mod that did exactly what I was looking for, so decided it was time to take a crack at making my first mod.
Enjoyable Quicksilver
If you are like me, you will no longer need to either tediously grind out Nexus missions at a slow time-gated pace or cheat your way to fat stacks of Quicksilver.
Quicksilver Sources
All new sources of Quicksilver are in addition to the vanilla rewards
Nexus Missions
(Weekend mission is the same as vanilla)
Normal – 125
Mega – 250
Abandoned Building Terminals
Activating the terminal – 50
Buried Scrap & Bones
Each dug up item – 25
Sunken Ruins
Unlocking the treasure chest – 100
Crashed Freighters
(Currently only works with land crashes)
Interacting with the distress beacon – 50
Salvaging all containers – 50
Ancient Ruins
Unlocking the artifact chest – 100
Crashed NPCs
Rescuing the NPC – 100
Crashed Ships
(Works with any ship, but I like the Salvager fantasy!)
Salvaging a crashed ship at the Space Station – 100
Distress Beacons
Interacting with the beacon – 50
Killing Sentinels
(have to “open” the dropped barrels to get the reward)
