With this mod you will learn multiple words every time depending on the version. this will cause the “popup” saying that you have learned a new word to appear several times in a row, initially at a faster speed and then more slowly as it comes to an end but interacting with something else that will teach you more words while this is still appearing could cause this to take longer to clear so you’ll just have to wait it out. This is due to how the game works and not anything that was edited.
This mod has been created many times before for other versions by many others but there was no updated version for Desolation so I created it myself but I would like to say thank you for all of those who have done it before.
I personally use the 5 word version as I feel it’s balanced in the sense that it’s not too slow or too fast in learning the language.
IMPORTANT NOTE – This mod works specifically with the Knowledge Stones as they don’t require word categories to be specified so this is by far the easiest way of doing it and I will not be making other versions for NPC’s as this would require even more unnecessary code repetition.
Also be aware that if using the 50 word version it will not display all the words learned in the event popup, only up to a certain number will be displayed so you don’t have to worry about too many popups being queued up.
