Replaces the ugly “Gek dogface” that doesn’t look like it belongs on a Gek conceptually (the muzzle texture doesn’t fit very well on the beak geometry, either) with a new beaked face. Now dialogue that refers to beaks makes sense for all Gek NPCs, and also they look nicer. The new beak is the same shape as one of the existing ones, but it’s a dark beak on light skin instead of a light beak on dark skin and is less scaly around the edges.
Shouldn’t conflict with anything unless somebody out there has also modified these same Gek textures.
…Seriously, I hate that face so much; I probably wouldn’t have even bothered to learn how to mod this game’s textures if it hadn’t been there.
Just drop the .pak in your No Man’s SkyGAMEDATAPCBANKSMODS folder. If MODS doesn’t exist, create it, and delete the file DISABLEMODS.txt.
