Replaces the default ship palette with bolder, more variant colors. Also adds more black & white options.
Please note that this mod will change the colors of your vanilla ships.
If you want your exotic ships to match the aesthetic of Better Ship Colors, try combining it with True Royal 🙂
Truth be told I was just annoyed that the “black”est ship in the game is a medium grey at best, but I once I got started changing things I got a little carried away with it. This mod features an entirely new color palette for standard ships.
I’ve created a fresh demonstration of how my palette looks compared to the vanilla game. Colors are now much bolder, plus there are true black ships and more neutrals. The pastel version maintains a more vanilla feel for those who find my colors too harsh.
This mod alters the file “METADATA\SIMULATION\SOLARSYSTEM\COLOURS\BaseColourPalettes.mbin”
