This mod replaces the default exosuit voice callouts in the game with all-new ones performed by voice actress Dacey Else. If you’re looking for an exosuit voice that is actually pleasant to hear, this is it!
This new voice pack replaces the default, harsh exosuit A.I. voice in the game with a new A.I. named MEGAN, performed by voice actress Dacey Else. After posting the job on voices.com and receiving 67 voice actor applications and demos, Dacey was my first choice!
Manual Installation
If you prefer to install this mod manually, simply drop the MeganExosuitAI.pak file into your No Man’s Sky\GAMEDATA\PCBANKS\MODS folder and delete or rename the No Man’s Sky\GAMEDATA\PCBANKS\DISABLEMODS.TXT file.
Known Conflicts
None. However, you can only have one custom exosuit voice mod installed at a time.
Known Limitations
There are a few callouts that cannot be replaced due to a bug in No Man’s Sky, but those are rare.
Due to a limitation in how the game lumps all SFX sounds, including exosuit voice callouts, through a single volume setting (“SFX” in the game’s audio settings), the new callouts are not quite as loud as I would like, but I boosted each callout’s level as much as possible using Adobe Audition when creating the mod.
