Changelog: 10/2/2020 – Big update, probably the last major update for awhile. Now you can choose from 4 screen color types and 8 combat HUD color types for a total of 32 combinations. Also added a FOMOD installer for Vortex users for easy install/reinstall to check out the different combos. Also added some graphics and revised others, you can see those in the new screen images. Biggest changes to Speed Panel and Center Panel.
Vortex Installation: Download and run the FOMOD installer using VORTEX, choose your options. To try other variations, reinstall the mod by right clicking on the mod in VORTEX, click reinstall, and select “update all profiles”. Will not work if you do not use Vortex Mod Manager.
Non Vortex Installation: Simply choose any combination of Combat HUD and Screen Color separately and put the .pak files in your \MOD folder. See images for screenshots.
Details:
While this HUD is not made for VR, many HUD mods do not include the screens you can see in some ship models to your left and right. I found that when I installed them they remained grey, while the other screens were all colored. This makes sense because in 2D you cant see those screens, but in VR you see them all the time. I also wanted a HUD that retained the original art style while adding to it, so thats what Ive tried to accomplish with this mod.
