I’ve done this mod for me, but now i want to share it with people which are tired like me from the heavy doubble-click-fingersport to speed up the text messages display.
Unlike others similar mods, this is a really up-to-date mod for NMS Origins 3.05 where coding was done in a clean manner. So negative and indefinable strange side effects should be reduced to zero. It’ should work fine with all Origins 3.0x versions.
TO INSTALL:
Extract (Unzip) Pak file into your MODS folder, somewhere there … X:\…Steam…\steamapps\common\No Man’s Sky\GAMEDATA\PCBANKS\MODS.
If no Mod Folder exist, then create it and name it exactly MODS
Now delete or rename the DISABLEMODS.TXT file in the same PCBANKS folder.
For example into “noDISABLEMODS.TXT” or “ENABLEMODS.TXT” or … what
else you want.
Then … enjoy playing NMS without those annoying BLOOM-Effects! Enjoy this new crystal clear gaming experience.
File coding was done in the \METADATA\UI\SPECIALTEXTPUNCTUATIONDELAYDATA.MBIN file only. It conflicts with other mods which modify the same file too.
