
I wanted this mod to keep the vanilla style for the enemies, so I started learning to edit rdr2 files and I made this small modification that changes loadouts and combatbehaviour.meta by enabling some unused weapon components from Rockstar’s that look exactly the same and adding another weapons to the groups because why not.
I tried to keep the diversity between range and close range weapons, making dual-wielding npcs being “rare”. probably not true in your save
At this moment I made changes to loadouts.meta and combatbehaviour.meta to the following groups:
O’Driscoll Boys:
Repeaters, shotguns, and dual-wield revolvers.
Lemoyne Raiders:
Repeaters, rifles, double-barreled shotgun and dual wield
Murfree Brood:
Lancaster repeater, double-barreled & sawed-off shotgun
Skinner Brothers:
Repeaters, Springfield, double-barreled and repeater shotgun, Bow, dual wield
Del Lobo:
Repeaters, dual wield
Guards (Jameson and Cornwall):
Repeaters, shotguns and dual-wield
INSTALLATION:
Drag and drop the file inside the zip in your rdr2 root folder
