I always felt the Tall Trees and Roanoke Ridge doesn’t feel as dangerous as the story and lore suggest, aside from the random events that only happen once, you’d never get attacked at all. this mod changes that by adding Murfree Brood and Skinner Brothers patrolling around their respective region hunting for unsuspecting target, if they saw you, they will immediately open fire. they may appear anywhere within the region, which means the encounter are completely random, which can give suspense
Aside from Murfree and Skinners, Night Folk now also patrols the swamp region, they will be equipped with melee weapon and if you’re not careful, can one-hit-kill you. Unlike the other gang, Night Folk only appear at.. Night
I also added Menu for customization, press F10 to open it, you can choose which region can have patrol, how long the cooldown between each patrol encounter, etc
this mod will be disabled if you’re in the camp or in a mission
To summarize:
1. Tall Trees, Roanoke Ridge, and the Swamp are patrolled by Murfree Broods, Skinner Brothers, and Night Folks respectively, they will spawn randomly within their region and will attack you if spotted
2. Murfrees use shotgun and revolvers, Skinners use rifles and bow (they may use either normal arrow or fire arrow), and Night Folks uses melee weapons like Hatchet and Machete (can one-hit-kill)
3. Open menu with F10 to customize mod features

for now it’s only those 3 gang since they fit halloween spirit, if I ever update the mod, I might add normal gang as well(depending on request ofc)
You don’t need the OG Ambient Gang btw, because the OG is an LML mod, while this is a Script mod. Still I heavily recommend using OG Ambient Gang aswell since there’s no conflict, and this mod doesn’t cover all gang like the OG does
