Native Land ReShade Preset V1.2

Native Land ReShade Preset V1.0

The beauty of the Wild West and North America in a new vision.

I spent a long time choosing what could suit me and eventually created one. This is a first version. I tried to balance brightness and saturation. The nights aren’t too dark, the daylight is more natural. North America as it looks like. Tested only with Red Dead Online.

Note: If the snow seems too bright for you, just change the settings as you like. This preset may slightly affect performance. But you can still check it for your PC. Native Land should work with most of ReShade versions.

What I use:

ReShade 5.4.1.
TAA ingame settings on high.
FXAA is enable.
SMAA is disable.
Ingame TAA sharpen quality around 20-30%.

Key toggle, check your NumLock button if it doesn’t work:

/ — open menu.
9 or PgUp — effect toggle.
8 — far DOF.
4 — cinematic DOF.
1 or End — border.

You can change it in ReShade settings tab.

Important: DOF doesn’t always work in online games. This is a ReShade cheat protection. If your screen is completely blurred, check Add-ons tab in the ReShade menu. If you see something like ‘High network activity discovered. Access to depth buffer is disabled to prevent exploitation’ so it means DOF is disabled at this moment. It can recover later and turn off periodically. And DOF doesn’t work with SMAA ingame settings.

How to Install:

Download ReShade
Run the .exe file.
Select RDR2.exe in game list or browse it.
Select the rendering API: DirectX 10/11/12 or Vulkan depends of what you need.
Install all shaders in the ReShade list.
Choose Native Land file as a preset for.
Finish.

Additionally shaders (if needed):

Extract CAS.fx to your main directory RDR2 folder / reshade-shaders / Shaders.

If you already have ReShade just extract files to your RDR2 main directory folder and switch main preset in ReShade menu after launch the game.
