Hello all! I, like most, love the replayability of RDR2. BUT I hate starting in chapter 1, and I hate having to hunt down everything needed for the satchel upgrades. I’m also stubborn and don’t want a save file that has completed missions in chapter two. So I made my own save file!
In the process of making this save I learned that it isn’t possible to actually acquire the LOE satchel without completing Americans at rest and money lending and other sins. So instead of completing those, I got everything needed for the satchels including: all perfect pelts, crafted 5 items at the scout campfire, donated 5 carcasses to Pearson, contributed $50 to camp, contributed 3 valuables at camp, and gave the camp enough money to upgrade the wagons needed and buy the leather working kit. All you will need to do is complete the two missions, buy the leather working kit, and upgrade the correlating wagons. Then the satchel will be ready for the taking!
To keep the file as unprogressed as possible, the only things I have done is run around collecting the pelts needed for all the satchel upgrades. I avoided all stranger missions, random encounters, and story missions. I also haven’t studied any animals other than the white tail deer(studied during hunting mission in chapter 1) and the mahogany bay Tennessee Walker Arthur acquires in chapter 1. The only progress made was horseman 1, I killed 5 bunnies from horseback on my mission to deliver 5 carcasses to Pearson for one of the satchels. And hunter 1 since the satchels require 7 deer pelts. otherwise, no other progress has been made. This save was going to be an honorable play through for me, so all lives were spared in chapter 1 and I didn’t do anything dishonorable during my pelt gathering. *
*Also, while I was out collecting pelts, by some luck or miracle bestowed upon me by the glitch gods, I came across a couple of bounty hunters – one of which – was riding a Silver Tail Buckskin American Standardbred. I couldn’t in good conscious pass that horse up. *I just stole the horse from the bounty hunter than ran off to avoid doing anything else with the random encounter. So, there is a second save file option with both the Mahogany Bay TW and the Silver tail AS tamed and stationed at camp. (I did study the silver tail AS as well to be 100% sure my eyes weren’t deceiving me.)

INSTALL:
Download the mod (duh)
Locate your saves folder. To do this, find the drive you downloaded the game to, then Documents>Rockstargames>Red Dead Redemption 2>profiles>95CD83A8
Move the downloaded into that file and done! In game it should be 8.0% complete, Eastward Bound.
