A simple ASI script that allows you to hot reload hot reload visualsettings.dat also including weather xml files on the fly (at runtime). This tool is supposed to help developers that make graphical mods. You no longer have to restart the game for every little change you make.
To reload files, press F10 while in-game. This key is rebindable with the included .ini file.
If you would like any other VFX to be able to be hot reloaded, make a suggestion in the comments.
If you are experiencing crashes when pressing F10, there’s not much I can do unfortunately. Most I can say is don’t delete files that have been loaded by LML and then attempt to reload them again.
Installation:
– Drag and drop both files from the zip into your game directory
