🧠 Legend ‘O’ Matic — What in the galaxy is this thing!?

💡 How it works:

Runs on Positron Batteries. What did you expect? Everything runs on batteries now!
Crafting legendary properties requires legendary modules. Such a valuable samovar won’t work for free.
Can infuse your Spacesuit, Helmet, Boostpack and Weapons with legendary properties.
Can purify items — removing all legendary traits and making them “clean” again.
Can extract modules from legendary gear… but at the cost of destroying the item. Ouch.

👁️ Where to find or craft it:

This beauty doesn’t come cheap — you’ll need to complete a series of research projects at the Science Station under the OUTPOST → Legend ‘O’ Matic category. Once done, the machine and its legendary effects become craftable and fully functional.
For those who are impatient – there is a cheat option in the Gameplay Menu. Which unlocks everything from the start.

BRAND NEW FROM THE OVEN:
In this list, you’ll see a whole variety of new Legendary effects, from the simple to the downright crazy. Many of them will seem familiar to you, and that’s true.
Some of the Legendary effects I’ve carried over and adapted from previous Bethesda games, like Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. Others are brand new and were created from scratch specifically for Starfield.

RANK-1

Armor

Credit Shield : Increases DMG, EM and ENRG resistances, the higher your credits. Up to 40%.
Elusive: While sprinting in combat there is a 50% chance to fully avoid any damage and stagger.
Environmental: Environmental damage becomes weaker by 30%.
Inconspicuous: 20% more difficult to detect when sneaking and have 10% better chances at pickpocketing.
Mercenary: +15% damage to all melee and ranged arsenal.
Phantom: 10% Chance to fully avoid any damage and stagger in all situations.
Lightweight: Spacesuit, boostpack and helmet weigh 90% less when worn.
Ammobox: Ammo weights reduced by 35%.
Bomber: +25% damage and radius to all explosive arsenal.
Pack Rat: Junk item weights reduced by 35%.
Thru-Hiker: Food, drink, and chem weights reduced by 35%.

Weapon

Swashbuckling: Human enemies drop more credits.
Lawful: +25% damage to Crimson Fleet, Spacer and Va’ruun enemies.
Focus: Time slows down for a moment while aiming. Has a slight cooldown after each trigger.
Defiant: The final shot in the magazine deals trice the normal damage.
Executional: +50% more damage when your target is below 40% health.
Hobgoblin: +15% damage and double critical damage while being in interior.
Ka-Ching!: Head shots with 15% chance gain you small amount of credits.
Planet-Lover: +30% damage while on a planet and -15% damage while in space.

RANK-2

Armor

Adapted: Slowly cures from environmental damage.
Ghost: For 10 seconds makes you totally immortal in the beginning of combat.
Inversable Might: The more environmental damage you get, the more powerful melee attacks become. Up to 200%.
Juggernaut: By sprinting for 3s, you accumulate power that knocks hostile targets down on impact. Uses 20 oxygen per hit.
Pharmaceutical: Med Packs, Trauma Packs, and Emergency Kits restore 25% additional Health 15% faster.
Spacer’s Choice: All types of Chems have 25% increased effects and duration.
Crypto Farm: Every realtime hour, randomly generates from 2500 to 15000 credits.
Hellrunner: While sprinting in combat, you leave flaming trails which set everyone on fire.
Venomous: Poisons nearby hostile targets while sneaking, but slowly hits you with environmental damage.
Solar Weave: While under solar radiation on moon or planet, restore 1% HP per second and gain +20 Radiation Resistance.

Weapon

Agile: Increases movement speed while aiming by 75%.
Freeloader: There is a 10% chance to gain ammo when firing the last round in your clip.
Inertial: Replenishes +20 Oxygen, Removes -20 CO2 with each kill.
Final Kiss: The final shot in the magazine attaches powerfull mini bomb.
Fortune Shot: Each shot with 15% chance can gain you small amount of credits.
Relentless: Fully refills Oxygen on a critical hit.
Unlucky Trio: +15% damage against Humans, Aliens and Robots.
Overdrive: Hits randomly add 1-3% of environmental damage to deal +75% damage.

RANK-3

Armor

Assassin: Increases sneak damage by x0.5 with suppressed and by x1.5 melee weapons.
Cryogenic: 15% chance to freeze nearby attackers for 5 seconds while being hit.
Empowered: +50% passive power recovery rate. Quantum essences effectiveness increased by 25%.
Fantastic Four: +10 Airborne, +10 Corrosive, +10 Radiation, +10 Thermal Resistance.
Farewell Wound: Getting critically hit creates a stealth field, making all targets loose you in sight for 30 seconds. Cooldown 120 seconds.
Electrician: 15% chance to shock and slowdown nearby attackers for 5 seconds while being hit.
Dream Team: -20% Inc. DMG, +25% Max HP, +10% Move. Speed while venturing with companion.
Masterclass: Your ship handling skills are best in class. Increases ship turning rate and maneuverability.
Mindful: +15% Experience Gain.
Warp Cocoon: Being critically wounded puts you in stasis for 5 seconds restoring 40% HP. Cooldown 5 minutes.

Weapon

Domino: All hostiles around 8 meters of the killed target also die.
High League: Critical hits knock down the target with such force that it flies away leaving a trail of fire behind.
Lucky: Critical Hits do +50% more damage and accumulate 10% quicker.
Shockloader: While in combat reloading or blocking, emit a shock wave that stuns nearby targets for 3 seconds.
Timed Death: Every 10 minutes you can Instantly kill a hostile target.
Unworldly: +50% damage to Staborn enemies.
Vampiric Touch: Restore 5% health over 2 seconds when you hit a target with a melee power attack or weapon bash.
Bloodbank: Each critical hit preserves 20% of your base health. When critically wounded, all preserved health is spent on healing.
Charged: After 5 kills activates “Charged Dome” for 20 s. Deals shock damage and slows targets in a small radius around the character with 10% chance to paralyze.

You all know how Starfield has a ton of so-called “unique” weapons — those quest rewards and named pieces you find in shops or missions? Yeah… about that.
In vanilla, those “unique” weapons are just regular guns with fancy names. Their “legendary” traits are copy-pasted across multiple items — and even appear on random loot.
So… what’s the point of calling them unique, right? 🤨 Well — that’s no longer the case.

The Uniquarium 2.0 update finally makes unique weapons actually unique. No more sad, mislabeled loot — only handcrafted legends worthy of your spacefaring hero.

Now go forth, Captain… and make the galaxy jealous. 🪐💥

Uniquarium List:
I created all this magnificence focusing on fun and usability, not realism. If a weapon isn’t fun to use and doesn’t offer any unique twist, then what’s the point?
To one degree or another, I tried to fit all the effects to the name of the unique weapon.

Below you’ll find a list of the craziest and most mind-blowing (literally) effects for every unique vanilla weapon you can get.
Note: not all of them are mind-blowing, some are just eye soothing.

AA-99

Desperation: Landing a critical hit while at 30% health or below causes each successful shot against the target to restore 2% health. Effect activates for 7 seconds.
Marksman’s: +25% critical chance, +50% critical damage, +70% accuracy while not moving and aiming for 5 seconds without interruption.
Peacekeeper: Each kill creates an “aura of protection” for you and your allies. Reducing the damage of all nearby enemies by 40% and increasing yours by 50% for 10 seconds.

ARC WELDER

Scrap Metal: +25% damage against robots and turrets. Destroyed targets can contain more useful resources.

AUTO RIVET

The Working Class: Equipped with an automatic trigger, it fires red-hot rivets that explode into shrapnel two seconds after impact, dealing heavy bleed damage.

BEOWULF

Hunterwulf: +25% damage against aliens and creatures. Killed wildlife can contain more useful resources.
The First Shot: The first shot after reloading deals +100% damage, penetrating the target’s armor by 50% with 25% chance to knockdown the target.

BIG BANG

Blast Radius: Releases a burst of supercharged explosive particles. +20% damage and radius to all explosions.

BREACH

Experiment A-7: Hits randomly consume 5% of current HP to deal +200% damage.
Rapidshot: Has preinstalled auto-rapid receiver. Adds +5% reload speed with each kill (Max 10). Accumulated effect lasts for 5 minutes then resets.
Riot Shotgun: 35% chance to stagger or knock down targets.

BRIDGER

Ashta Tamer: Can summon up to one magmatic Ashta at a time as an ally for 3 minutes or till death. Has a self-refilling ammo system.
Shattered Shock: Bombards with lobber shockbombs. Targets caught in the blast zone are slowed by 75% and have -60% damage resistance.

COACHMAN

The Preacher’s Resolve: 15% chance to knockdown the target and steal 25% of target’s current health.

CUTTER

Heller’s Cutter: Much powerful and more efficient version of regular cutter. Yields 75% more power, damage and 50% lower battery consumption. The laser has an igniting effect.

DRUMBEAT

Powerbeat: Fires particle infused projectiles. Every 6th shot explodes on impact and causes stagger. Has an area effect.

EON

Radburn: While under solar radiation inflict 30% more damage. +10 Radiation Resistance.

EQUINOX

Brawler’s Equinox: Bashing deals 300% damage and sets Critical bashing chance to 25%. Critical bash hits knockdown targets.
Hot-Headed: Depending on the mood of this weapon it has a chance to randomly fire from one to five projectiles emiting pools of fire upon impact.

GRENDEL

Acid Rain: Projectiles have a 15% chance to emit corrosive fumes upon impact, dealing 15% corrosive damage per second and reducing target’s armor by 50% inside effective area.
The Buzzcut: Special modification with rapid firing mechanism. Fires additional 5 projectiles at once.

HARD TARGET

Long Distance Relationship: Shots from 100 meters or further deal +300% damage. Shot from less than 100 meters deal -75% damage.
The Last Breath: Hold-breath time when aiming using a scope activates deep time dilation, but uses oxygen quicker. Fully restores oxygen if the target was killed while hold-breathing.

KODAMA

Live Wire: Hitting the target when it attempts to reload, will cause paralyzing shock to all targets nearby for 5 seconds. Crits to robots or turrets disables them for 5 seconds.
Vampire’s Gift: Restore 4% health over 3 seconds when you hit a target.

KRAKEN

Eldritch Horror: 25% Chance to demoralize the target for 30 seconds. During the effect, the target is poisoned and emits toxic fumes in small radius.
Street Sweeper: Accuracy increases by 15%, Damage increases by 10% and Damage Resistance by 5% for each enemy targets within 10m (5 targets max).

LAWGIVER

Head Ranger: Killing members of Crimson Fleet, Spacers or Va’ruun has a 25% chance to randomly reward you 500-1500 credits.
Justifier: Hits to the hands cause mini explosions that damage and disarm the target.
Peacemaker: Has 50% critical chance on next attack after hitting the target’s legs or arms.

M1919

Sir Livingstone’s Pistol: While equipped Increases damage output, the higher your credits. Up to 100%.
Vampire’s Sidearm: While in combat, reloading vanishes you for a breath moment and all targets loose you in sight. Has a slight cooldown.

MAELSTROM

Fiscal Quarter: Uses credits instead of ammo.
Pirate Legend: Killed targets can additionaly spawn legendary item. 5% chance to spawn Rank-(I), 3% chance to spawn Rank-(II) and 1% chance to spawn Rank-(III).

MAGSHEAR

Mindtear: With a 25% chance the target goes frenzy for 30 seconds, and attaches a mini-bomb. After killing the target or effect ends, the target explodes.
Revenant: Hitting 20% health or lower, activates several blasts of devastating shrapnel in big radius, restoring 35% of health with each blast. Has 5 minutes cooldown.

MAGSHOT

Keelhauler: Killing the target makes everyone nearby go frenzy for 30 seconds.
The Mutineer: A special conversion that turns this compact handgun into a deadly miniature grenade launcher with mini 40mm XPL drum.
Trickshot: With each subsequent shot the number of projectiles increases by one (+5 Projectiles Max).

MAGSNIPER

Avatar: Significantly boosts power regen for 2 seconds with each kill.

MAGSTORM

PoisonStorm: Projectiles have a 15% chance to emit poison clouds upon impact, dealing 15% poison damage per second inside effective area.

MICROGUN

N67 Smartgun: Changes regular ammo to 40mm XPL. Transforms the weapon into a portable rocket launcher.
X-989 Microgun: Projectiles emit pools of fire where they land, dealing fire damage and igniting targets for 5 seconds.

NEGOTIATOR

Reckless Bombardment: Modernized model with installed rapid automatic receiver and bigger drum magazine, but has lower damage output. Fires several wide-spread projectiles per shot.

NOVALIGHT

High Voltage: Only has 1 ammo in clip and works only at low distances, but instantly stuns target on hit.
The Spacer: +35% damage to spacers, -35% damage from spacers while being in space.

OLD EARTH ASSAULT RIFLE

Fury: Adds +10% damage with each kill (Max 10). Accumulated damage lasts for 5 minutes then resets.
Gallow’s Reach: Implants poisonous larvaes. If the target is killed by their poison, hatches a whole swarm of volatile heatleeches.

OLD EARTH HUNTING RIFLE

Despodent Assassin: After killing an enemy with a headshot, everyone nearby has a 30% chance drop their weapon and start to run away in fear.
Speechless Fire: Projectiles explode and incinerate small area on impact.

OLD EARTH SHOTGUN

The Cursed: +100% Incoming damage, +200% outgoing damage.

ORION

Amped-Up Orion: Has integrated black market auto-rapid receiver exclusively for this unit. Fires 1 additional projectile for a better punch.
Anesthesia: Projectiles have a 15% chance to emit anesthetic gas upon impact, slowly stunning and blinding targets inside effective area.
Unmitigated Violence: While being in aim for 7 seconds and not moving, fires charged up shock projectile with an area effect.
Unrestrained Vengeance: Has a shotgun-like behavior. Fires 5 projectiles at once ignoring 35% of armor.

OSMIUM DAGGER

Holy Fortune: Killing an enemy creates a 10m radius “Holy Zone” where you and your allies gain +30% damage resistance and restore 5% HP/sec for 10 seconds.

Note: Fortune’s Glory = Holy Fortune

PACIFIER

Brute Force: If you bash-disarm a target and immediately shoot within three seconds, the target will be blasted away, taking significant damage. Works only with armed targets.

RATTLER

The Zapper: Shots electrocute and can stagger the targets in 8 meters radius.

RAZORBACK

Deadeye: When you kill a target in the head, a powerful time dilation is triggered for 5 seconds, while it is active all your shots are deadly.
The Prime: After 5 kills in a row activates “Prime Mode”: +50% outgoing DMG, -30% incoming DMG, immunity to stagger, +25% movement speed and 7% HP regen for 30 seconds.
Unfair Advantage: Quickly sheathing and unsheathing sets your critical chance to 100% and makes every shot deal +50% more critical damage during 5 seconds.

REGULATOR

Ambassador: While armed with this weapon your social and persuasive skills are much successful. Selling and buying items is 20% more profitable.
Elegance: Critical hits to the head or arms significantly reduce the target’s accuracy for 10 seconds.

SHOTTY

Boom Boom: Converts projectiles into lobber micromines. The operating principle is the same as with regular full-size mines.

SIDESTAR

Ace Sidearm: +15% Reload and Attack speed. Each consecutive hit adds +5% critical chance and critical damage (+35% max)
Memento Mori: When you’re on the brink of death, your health fully restores. Cooldown 5 minutes.

SOLSTICE

Ember: Transforms weapon into mini flamethrower. Has a 35% to demoralize ignited targets for 15 seconds.
Short Circuit: In combat bashing robots has 35% chance to disable them for 15 seconds. Outside of combat has 100% chance.

TOMBSTONE

Animal’s Friend: Taking damage from creatures -20% and dealing damage to them +20%. After creature successfully hits you, it will most likely calm down for a while.
Feather: Move much faster and aim more stable while in Zero-G. Take 25% less fall damage and jump 10% higher. The weapon itself weighs almost nothing.
Tempest: Projectiles emit electricity. Emptying the whole clip, releases a powerful electrical discharge, knocking down all nearby targets.

URBAN EAGLE

Marathon: +70% accuracy and +35% effective gun range while firing on the move without any possibility to stagger you.
Solace: Kills yield triple experience. Increases persuasion chance by 15%.

VA’RUUN INFLICTOR

Eternity’s Gate: Kills has a 25% to create an area of anti-gravity that paralyzes and damages enemies caught in it.
Reflection: When you are hit, deals retaliatory damage to the enemy equal to 15% of their health.

VA’RUUN PAINBLADE

The King Slayer: Legendary enemies and bosses killed with this blade will have a good amount of credits and additional legendary item in their loot.

Note: The Last Priest = The King Slayer

VA’RUUN STARSHARD

Terror Inflictor: After kill immediately reanimates a dead body to fight alongside you for 30 seconds.

WAKIZASHI

Syndicate Enforcer: While blocking makes you almost impenetrable. Deflects all hits to the attacker inflicting 25% health damage. Uses 15% oxygen per deflect.

XM2311

Haphazard Handgun: After reaching 75% of environmental damage, the next shot turns into a devastating explosion. Removes all environmental damage and restores 50% of health.

⚠️ Important Notes:

Any unique weapons you’ve already acquired in your playthrough will keep their old boring vanilla legendary effects. Yeah… that’s just how the game works, folks.
But don’t panic — there are two elegant solutions 👇

️⃣ Start a new game… But who wants to do that, right? 😅
️⃣ Use the new feature added to the Gameplay Menu — “The Uniquarium Chest.”

Activate it, and a mysterious chest will appear at your feet containing every unique weapon in the game.
Grab your copy, ditch the old one, or… you know… just take everything. No one’s judging — there’s a lot of spicy loot in there. 🔥

Compatibility:

(!) Fully compatible with mods that don’t change WEAPON records in any way.
(!) Fully safe to install mid-playthrough (just note the vanilla weapon limitation above).
(!) Not compatible with mods that touch legendary system and weapon records in any way without a proper patch. Nothing will break, it just will not work as designed.

Load order:

(!) Highly recommended… i would say even MANDATORY to put Legend ‘O’ Matic as low as possible so it would take full priority.
