Let me first preface that this is my first mod, so if you have problems or bug please give me a detailed description of it so I can better assist with solving the problem. I hope in the future that I can follow up with further updates such as better collision models and color swapping of the ship itself.
This mod does a couple things so I’ll have bullet point stating each.
1. The ship hull being the largest part of this mod is a structural part that I place vanilla modules inside of of. I added the FX for take off and landing to the hull itself.
2. The engines are a separate module that I created that snaps onto the hull of the Tempest. They are boosted in power and makes the ship quite fast.
3. There is a boosted reactor and grav drive. I did this due to the limited space with the ship hull and rather than limit the hab space with oversized ones I felt this was the better option. That said if you wish to used the vanilla ones you’re more than happy to do so. It won’t effect how the mod functions.
4. To save people trouble I made it so you can purchase the ship from the Stroud Ekland Star yard or Stroud vendor at Neon. Its listed as the M-9 Tempest. That said your are welcome to rearrange the habs location or what habs you wish to use. Aside from the Engines, reactor and grav drive everything is is vanilla.
5. There are two mod you’ll want to use with this. The Larger Ship Size and Zoom and Position Adjustment. Due to how large the ship model is you need to larger ship size mod and the Zoom so you can adjust for a better third person view of outside the ship.
6. I have been asked several time in the past if I’ll be doing the interior of the original Tempest, but that isn’t possible. In the original game the interior was 3 times larger than the actual ship size and was not even uniform in its shape.
7. I’ve also been asked if I’ll be uploading this to Creation Club and while that is possible I am choosing not to so I can avoid any problems with EA and Bioware.
