
Bringing the combined mod needed for ultimate experience with weapons in RDR2, making Springfield and Mauser fully automatic with more ammo capacity, replacing Silver and Nickel Metals with Red and Purple Shining Metals and modifying Algernon’s Revolver stats and appearance
This is a custom mod which I personally like and use, hence decided to share it. It contains my own modifications along with mods used from another great modders
Installation: Put ‘YSL_Redd’ folder inside lml (Requires latest Lenny’s Mod Loader)
Springfield Auto
– Springfield Rifle is now fully automatic with devastating fire rate
– The stats are taken from MG-42 mod, so credits to the respective author
– Only stats are used, visual appearance is not changed to avoid clipping or blurring from far distance (If wanted, use stream folder contents of mods like MG-42, FN-SCAR, M4, etc which changes visual appearance of Springfield rifle
Mauser Auto
– Mauser Pistol is now fully auto, very lightweight mod. just removes 2 flags in file (see tutorial below)
– Fire rate and ammo capacity is high, but less fire rate in dual wield (I don’t know how to do it)
Red and Purple Gun Metals
– Silver is replaced with shining Red and Nickel with shining Purple Metal
– Modified some values (see tutorial below) from Gun Metal Rework mod to make Red and Purple colors, so credits goes to respective author
Algernon’s Revolver Stats
– Algernon’s Revolver contains Gold engravings and Iron components by default
– Changed Iron to Silver for red metal look
– Changed High Velocity ammo’s damage to 120, same as Explosive ammo
– Changed Explosive ammo’s penetration to 1.5, same as High Velocity ammo
–> Obviously not fully compatible with any mods which modifies weapons.ymt
Tutorial to do it yourself
– In weapons.ymt file, there is section of Ammo Capacity, which is changed for Mauser
– Also, it has CWeaponFlags, in which two flags are removed to make Mauser fully automatic – ‘OnlyFireOneShot’ and ‘OnlyFireOneShotPerTriggerPress’
– For metals, changed RGB i.e x,y,z values of Weapon_Silver and Nickel in AlbedoMetalRGB values and shine, roughness, etc. values
– In section of ammo for Algernon’s Revolver, with name double action exotic in file, there is penetration and damage value for different ammos, changed high velocity damage and explosive penetration to each other’s value
– Changed components metal from iron to silver again in section of double action exotic in weapons.ymt file
