Increases the speed of the players binocular scanner for faster discoveries of fauna, flora, and minerals. (Animal, plants, and rocks)
Faster Binocular scanner:
This increases the speed of the players binocular scanner leading to faster discoveries of fauna, flora, and minerals.
NOTE: this mod does not affect any other scanner types in the game, this includes ship, vehicle, and terrain scanning.
Installation:
Dowload the .Pak file
Navigate to your No Man’s Sky mod folder, this is usually found under this directory – DRIVE (e.g. C:)\SteamGames\steamapps\common\No Man’s Sky\GAMEDATA\PCBANKS\MODS
Place the .Pak file downloaded from this page into the MODS folder.
NOTE: If you’re new to adding mods, make sure to remove the DISABLEMODS.txt file from the PCBANKS folder.
Extra details:
– Scanner time while scanning plants and minerals decreased to only 0.5 seconds. (from 3.9)
– Scanner time while scanning aminals is also decreased to only 0.5 seconds (from 3.9)
– Changes made to PAKS\GCGAMEPLAYGLOBALS.GLOBAL.MBIN line 347 – 350
