NO BIOME SPECIFIC FILTERS MOD
ABOUT:
This mod does what the name implies. starting with NEXT aka 1.5 version of No man’s sky, biomes seem to have specific filters tied to them.while the effect is nice and adds realism, a few people ,including me might not like certain filters, so this mod replaces the biome specific filters with default (no filter) . that way, most of the biomes should have only the default filter. a few biomes still have the biome specific filters applied which seems to not possible to remove.
NOW includes two versions:
_MOD_DEFAULT_FILTERS_ON_ALL_PLANETS.pak- swaps all biome filters with default filters
_MOD_FILMIC_FILTERS_ON_ALL_PLANETS.pak– swaps all biome filters with filmic filters
NOTE: use 7zip or winrar to extract the downloaded mod rar file.
VERSION OF GAME SUPPORTED: 1.52
COMPATIBILITY: this mod wont work with any mods that modifies the files in the folder “METADATA/EFFECTS/”
MULTIPLAYER / SINGLEPLAYER EFFECT: Should work without any issues for other player whether they have the mod or not.
INSTALLATION DETAILS:
1)delete “DISABLEMODS.TXT” file in the PCBANKS folder of No Man’s Sky installation.
2)create a new folder called “MODS” within the PCBANKS folder.
3)drag and drop the “_MOD_DEFAULT_FILTERS_ON_ALL_PLANETS.pak” or “_MOD_FILMIC_FILTERS_ON_ALL_PLANETS.pak” (DEPENDING ON THE VERSION YOU WANT) from the downloaded file into the MODS folder created above.
NOTE: use 7zip or winrar to extract the downloaded mod rar file.
