Project Atlas – Procedural Colors for NEXT

ABOUT:

This mod adds color palletes tables to the game , that are generated using a combination of both procedural and random generation. It adds color diversity to the game on a scale never before seen, and provides infinite and endless discernable(visually distinguishable) color combinations.
This mod is part of my Project Atlas Universe Generator for No Man’s Sky. To know what Project Atlas is , check this reddit post that contains details about it.

Introducing Project Atlas: Your very own Procedural Universe generator for No Man’s Sky(Work in progress preview) from NoMansSkyTheGame

The mod affects colors of all stuff that are generated on a planet – trees, terrain, creatures, rocks, stones, planet rings etc and also affects space background colors.

The longer / more planets you visit, the better are your chances of finding really rare and awesome colored planets. it offers a incentive to actually explore and find that rare planet with example gray grass and yellow trees!!!you never know what the planets will look like till you actually visit them.

HOW ARE COLORS GENERATED: Colors are generated in my mod in two ways.

method 1: RANDOM GENERATION: colors are selected from a random set of color ranges randomly without any intelligent selection methods.

method 2: PROCEDURAL INTELLIGENT GENERATION: colors are automatically assigned to a specific component. based on the component type it is being assigned. Say for example it is deciding colors for sand, it will only select from a range of colors that will look good for Sand( for example shades of yellow or grayish white etc). This method is applied to the remaining components too, thus every component is assigned colors intelligently and procedurally , thereby giving more coherent and visually pleasing planetary color visuals.

MULTIPLAYER: This mod is multiplayer safe. if two players dont have the same mod, it wont affect your multiplayer experience. The game will function without any issues for all the players in the multiplayer session.

if two players want the same colors on a planet , then it is recommended they use the same mod types.

FILE OPTIONS :

COLORS ON ALL PLANETS: PROCEDURAL COLORS FOR ALL PLANETS WITH 1000 PROCEDURAL COLOR TABLES.
