Allows the player to ride gang horses.
During some point in the development of Red Dead Redemption II, Arthur was supposed to be able to ride the horses from camp. This mod restores that feature. Roger Clark even recorded lines for some horses, which are still present in the game files and were included in this mod.
To ride a horse from camp, simply walk up to it and press the mount button. Arthur will mount the horse and say the appropriate line.
After taking the horse away from camp, a horse blip will appear on the minimap. You’ll also have the option to make it follow you, stay, flee, or return to camp.
Translation:
To translate the prompts open Canter.dat and replace the text on the right.
Installation:
drop Canter.asi and Canter.dat in your game directory.
