Follow People and a Questionable Attempt at a Law Rework V1.0

You can now follow people without them trying to kill you and the lawmen you just killed can no longer call in their buddies from Timbuktu on the radio

These are two really minor mods I made so I wanted to combine them into one, basically it’s exactly as the title says: NPCs let you follow them now and the other mod will be explained below:

Basically what the law rework does is it makes it so the different phases of being wanted don’t activate. Instead, once you kill all the law in the town you will have a very small grace period where you can roam around before the patrols actually come in. They don’t automatically know where you are though, making it easier to escape. After the patrols are dead you are free to roam the city but you may run in to rogue lawmen on your way out

I like the mod personally but it’s not executed as well as I’d like *some missions may not work with it active* and relies on certain quirks in how the game works, that’s why I packaged it in with a mod that I am actually satisfied with because the whole being forced to pass people and not being able to use sidewalks was really irking me

In order to achieve the intended effect you may need enhanced entity and world persistence, though I haven’t confirmed. Only the corpse persistence would need to be activated, though

I know a lot of mods use metapeds but merging this one is simple: remove all the entries that contain “dispatch” and “deputyresident”. If perchance you like the deputy residents coming out of nowhere and just want to get rid of the infinite hoards of lawmen simply keep their entries in when merging
