Makes Oxen pull some wagons + reindeer
Ever wanted to drive a wagon pulled by an Ox in this game? For some reason Rockstar decided not to make that dream a reality, so I had to do it for them. Some concept art for the game depicted wagons being pulled by Oxes (see above) and there’s a random encounter with some dead ones in front of a wagon, so it was clearly something they thought of but it just didn’t happen.
I even included a “Christmas” version that features Reindeer instead of Oxes!
METAPEDS MERGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Copy the entry for the Sorrel Overo and Marble Sabino and paste them into the metapeds file you want to use. If you see a million oxes/reindeer spawn, it means your metapeds file is conflicting with another or it isn’t installed properly
Known Bugs:
– Horses no longer wear their tack when pulling a wagon. There’s currently no good way around this issue at the moment, sorry
– Oxen will flip out sometimes if you get near to them or bother them, try leaving them alone or driving them around and they should calm down. Consider this sort of intentional
– Moonwalking when stopped sometimes
– In a similar vein, the reindeer will often stare at people when stopped (which slightly alters the walking animation, making it look just a little bit odd) and will try to walk off when left unattended. These issues could be fixed in the future with some more tweaking
– Probably a bunch of other stuff but hey, it’s a start. If people like this mod enough I’ll try to work out some of the kinks
BUG FIXES
– Fixed gangs of up to three bears spawning for some reason
