When using this mod, you should delete A Modest Memory Pool Booster (Kaptain’s GameConfig) and any other “stutter-fixes”, to ensure LML loads this mod properly.
Update V2.75 Released
This should boost performance even more, yet again. This new update (V2.75) should offer a considerable jump in performance over the previous version, and take greater advantage of modern hardware. The result should be a substantial performance boost.
Note: If your CPU supports Hyperthreading or SMT, I recommend that you ENABLE hyperthreading or SMT. Doing so, will help you reap even greater benefits from this mod.
Very Important, Please Read This
1) If your CPU has 4 physical cores + Hyperthreading or SMT or more than that, then V2.75 will always be the best choice for you, by far. That means V2.75 is the best choice for the majority of users.
So all 4 core (with HT/SMT), 6 core, 8 core, 10 core, 12 core, 16 core, etc CPUs, should use V2.75. And please make sure to enable Intel Hyperthreading or AMD SMT if available. If your CPU does not support Hyperthreading or SMT, then as long as it has 6 cores or more, V2.75 should be your choice.
2) If your CPU has only 4 cores total (4 threads), and without Hyperthreading or SMT, then V2.1 might be the best choice for you. But you should still try V2.75, as it could still be the best option for you. V2.75 has several optimizations that are absent in the older versions.
If you’re not sure about your CPU, then open Windows Task Manager, and click on “Performance.” Then select “CPU.” Then, on the bottom right look for “Logical Processors.” If that number is 6 or more, you should use V2.75.
How To Install
Extract the zip file, and place the “V2 Performance Booster” folder in your LML folder.
If you don’t have an LML folder, then download Lenny’s Mod Loader. After downloading Lenny’s Mod Loader, copy the contents within the “ModLoader” folder to your Red Dead Redemption 2 game folder (where RDR2.exe is located). Then place the “V2 Performance Booster” in the LML folder you copied over.
