Lets you ignore the skill challenge to level up a skill.
This allows you to level up a skill even if the challenge hasn’t been completed yet.
Yes, you still need skill points.
This will not mess with the actual challenge progress so it’s fine to remove or ignore.
Installation
Install the SFSE.
Extract this so the file is placed as “Starfield\Data\SFSE\Plugins\Ignore-Skill-Challenge.dll”
Or use a mod manager or whatever. Just check the path.
Same as SFSE, this needs to be in the game dir, not the save dir.
Launch through SFSE. Or use something like SFSE – Launch on Steam with In-Game Overlay if you want to keep going through Steam.
The plugin will create “Ignore-Skill-Challenge.log” in the same directory on startup if it’s in the right spot.
This was made for the Steam version!
Other versions are untested, either the AoB scan works, or not. I am unable to test GP so hopefully it still does
Changelog:
Version 1.5.1
Potential fix for turrets firing forever. Change AoB patch to the calling method instead.
Version 1.5
Updated for SF 1.7.33. (No changes made, just tested/built for new SFSE/game versions.)
Version 1.4
Mostly just adds more logging: Version info, target/found game version, offsets relative to module base, warnings about mismatched versions (only applicable to the ASI version), etc.
An ASI build of the mod that is more lenient with game versions since SFSE isn’t loading it. Might also work on GP. Untested.
