Launch Starfield Script Extender when you press “Play” on Steam with working Steam in-game overlay.
A simple .ini file that I have used on SKSE since OG Skyrim (Oldrim), tweaked for Starfield.
Instruction:
1. Download the mod.
2. Rename “Starfield.exe” to “StarfieldSFSE.exe”
3. Rename “sfse_loader.exe” to “Starfield.exe”
4. Place “SFSE.ini” to Steam\steamapps\common\Starfield\Data\SFSE (if the folder doesn’t exist, just create a new folder)
5. Done!
You will now have SFSE working on launch with Steam, and the Steam in-game overlay enabled. This mod will work forever, as long as you redo step 2 and 3 whenever there’s a new Starfield/SFSE update.
Remember, Starfield Script Extender (SFSE) is required. I recommend using Baka Achievement Enabler (SFSE) to demonstrate that this tweak works. (When you press the tilde ~ button, it won’t show the Achievement Disabled Warning).
