A full set of mountable flat lettering to create custom wall signs, crate labels, direction posts, or just décor for your ship interiors, player homes, and outposts. Along with upper case letters and numbers , it also includes lower-case letters, punctuation symbols, and arrows. These flat yellow on black letters are the same font and style as the Ship Signs, with a glow visible when dark.
These flat letters attach to any wall or flat surface including storage crates, safes, windows, dividers, and many furniture and display objects. Two to Four letter resource abbreviations fit on the front of most crates, with several words fitting above or beside door frames. These also can be mounted on the outside of most outpost habs.
In an open area, furniture, decor, or display objects with a flat side often work as a good sign holder, for example office dividers or bench backs. With some careful placement of back plates, the backpack stand makes a good sign post.
The letters are available in the decorations menu, just below the storage containers and safes, above lamps and posters
– The upper case letters are split into two rows A to M, and N to Z, for faster spelling.
– Numbers and Symbols are combined in the next selection, with symbols for :’&’, ’@’, colon, dash, ‘$’, dot, ‘=’, ‘!’, ‘+’, ‘#’, ‘?’, separator, slash, tilde
– The lowercase letters a-z are all in the next list.
– The final set has 4 sign style arrows, 8 direction arrows,two blank spaces, and five blank back plates , ranging from 3 to 10 chars wide
The set also includes optional blank back plates to help you keep words lined up straight, and allows even placement across uneven surfaces, like the front of some containers. Letters mounted to a plate can also be moved or deleted together instead of respelling. The back plates and letters have the same surface snap, but attach at the middle so the plates allow words to extend past the edges of the object behind them.
These letters can not be placed on Outpost Storage Containers, but I do have another mod for that.
